            Bug ID: 171941
Summary: making absolute copies of sheets not possible?
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have sheet called doe which contains values, formulas, text, and references
to external sheets. I use it as a template. When I try to make a copy of it, it
seems impossible to make and exact copy where all the external links are the
same. I spent hours on deep seek trying to solve this. As an example. In doe
cell n9, I have =rat.z1. when I make a new sheet, say eel, and copy doe to eel,
cell n9 says something different than =rat.z1. can't seem to avoid relative
referencing. thank you.

Actual Results:
no matter how I try to make a copy of a sheet, or copy a sheet to a blank
sheet, i cannot get rid of relative sheet referencing.

Expected Results:
if doe is original sheet, and i create a new sheet called cow, I expect cow to
be identical to doe with respect to the referencing of other sheets.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
i don;t know what else to say. It seems I should be able to make an exact copy
of a sheet. I use bug as a sheet that I can copy elsewhere to later modify into
a new version of doe. My calc version is actually 26.2.3.2
