Bug ID: 171971
Summary: Allow configuration of showing an icon in front of a
menu entry
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
As a designer/maintainer I want to be able to activate icons for the most
essential entries, while not showing them for less essential items or items
that are selectable.
As a user I want to configure my menus and whether icons show in front of the
entires or not .
The UI for this could be an addition to the "modify" menu in the menu
customization tab – have a menu entry which toggles showing the icon.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open customization dialog,
go to "menus" tab,
select an menu entry
Actual Results:
There is no way to show or not show the icon of the menu entry in the menu.
Entries either have an icon (which shows then in the menu) or not.
Expected Results:
Whether an icon is shown or not can be configured.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Note: Some tookits might never show icons in menus.
