--- Comment #101 from [email protected] --- I hate this that much as you do. And I was one of the hundreds reporters in the past. Unfortunately there is not much hope. Windows saves these attached documents for each software. The moment we update our Libre Office, it reads "LO 25.4". The saved documents is e.g. "LO 22.1". Windows concludes, "oh, not the same software". And the documents are gone again. Not sure, if this is solvable. Nobody knows, which upgrade of which version the user will do. I gave up and do this: Before installation I take a screenshot of my attaches by using the key "print". Then I open all the attached documents and then close the software. After update I can reopen the documents from "open recent documents". I open them again and this causes Windows to remember them as "recent". Now I can attach them from the recent list of the taskbar in the attached list or the taskbar.
