For unknown reason: All Linux distributions won't install the internal Firebird
3 version as the original LO-packages have installed. Packages for Firebird in
LO will have a packed size about 3 MB, while packages of OpenSUSE (and might be
the same in Ubuntu) will have a sice of 220 kB. Firebird isn't part of the
package.

Ubuntu-version of Firebird will use Firebird 4 with a connection to Firebird 3
(Connection of LibreOffice). If you open any Firebird database created in older
systems (or Windows, Mac) it would be opened and will be saved as Firebird 4.
You couldn't use it any more on other systems. And: Many SQL-code won't work
with this "damaged" file.

Don't know why Linux distributions won't use the packages from LO - special for
Base. The version of Ubuntu is buggy, not the version LO provides.
