https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67636
Priority: medium
Bug ID: 67636
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Other: Opening document takes about 80 seconds, perf
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
This document is pretty typical for some analysis I do. The document is
created purely in calc - not an excel to calc conversion.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open file I have attached to this bug report
2. see that it takes over one minute to open.
Current behavior:
file loads after a minute
Expected behavior:
I would expect it to load in a few seconds.
system:
uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.3-300.fc19.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jul 26 00:00:58
UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
4GB RAM
intel core 2 duo
I was trying to follow the helpful instructions in:
http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/154/why-is-calc-so-much-slower-at-openingsaving-files-than-ms-office-win7-x64/
but I could not find a 'whiteboard' area to enter 'perf' as suggested by user

Operating System: Fedora
