Bug ID: 172034
Summary: CALC: Autofilter by CONDITION presents a human date in
the 1st selector but internal date subsequently
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
When a date column is autofiltered and the intention is to select a range then
the procedure is to select the first date >= and the popup is a "localised"
date but the second selection for >= presents an internal date. Also, the 2nd
date popup goes to the beginning of the file rather than "more likely" a
subsequent date from the available range.
Image attached.
It would surprise me if the image isn't self explanatory but;
1 Create an auto filtered column of date format
2 populate it with a dragfill for perhaps a month or 6 years
3 Activate the filter
4 Select Filter by Condition>Standard Filter
5 There is only one field name so select the condition >=
6 Observe the first Value is localised date format
7 add "AND" as the second operator
8 Still only one field name so selkect the condition >=
9 Observe the second value is internal format, the display shows all available
dates and the highlughted internal format number is "probably" the current
filtered extent - well it is on 6 years of data
10 Select a date from the localised dropdown
11 Repeat from 3 and observe the 2nd date is still internal
