Bug ID: 172041
Summary: Export PDF regression Calc 26.2: link is not clickable
when the spreadsheet is exported to PDF
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Regression with LibreOffice Calc 26.2: When a URL is inserted within a word in
a sentence within a cell, the link is not clickable when the spreadsheet is
exported to PDF. From LibreOffice Calc, Ctrl+clicking on the document correctly
opens the URL. The problem only occurs with PDF export.
The same document created with Calc 25.8 produces a PDF with the link working
(using the same PDF export options).
Writer 26.2 does not have this problem. Attached are a document created with
Calc 25.8 and Calc 26.2, and the PDF export performed with the same version.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new document with the phrase "Click here" in cell A1.
2. Select the word "here" and insert a link via the "Insert" menu, then
"Hyperlink".
3. Add a link to a standard HTTPS web page.
4. Export to PDF (I've tested many PDF export options; this happens with PDF
1.7, PDF 2.0, PDF/A, etc.).
Actual Results:
Open the PDF. The PDF reader doesn't detect any hyperlinks.
I reset my LibreOffice profile, but the bug persists.
Attached is an ODS and PDF generated with Calc 26.2
Expected Results:
Open the PDF. The link should now be clickable.
Attached is an ODS and PDF generated with Calc 25.8 which works perfectly.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
