Open a new spreadsheet 1. Enable URL Recognition (menu Tools - AutoCorrect Options - Options tab) 2. Type in a cell an email address: i.e., [email protected], accept (it may be with F9, Enter, or Tab) 3. While the cell is active, click the = button in the formula bar 4. Press the Right Arrow key a few times 5. Add an "x" 6. Press the End key 7. Add an "y" 8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 Actual Results: After 3. The first character of the address is selected. After 4. The cursor advances only one position, to the right of the second character. After 5. The "x" is added to the right of the first character: [email protected] After 7.
