Description:
Cell selection often behaves incorrectly while editing formulas in LibreOffice
Calc.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new spreadsheet in Calc
2. Select cell C6
3. Enter the formula: =SUM(
4. Using the mouse, select the two cells directly above (C4:C5) while the
formula is still being edited
5. Release the left mouse button
Actual Results:
When the left mouse button is released, the selected range unexpectedly changes
to a larger block: A1:C4.
Expected Results:
The selected range should remain C4:C5.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No

I am using the LibreOffice version that is shipped standard with Ubuntu 26.04.
