What's different is that Bug 116643 describes a crash that happens on Linux,
not Windows, using a specific version of GTK, and the bug description says
nothing about needing to start the presentation from a particular slide, nor
anything about triggering the bug by going past the current slide and then
going back to trigger it that way. Nor does that bug say anything about NOT
triggering the bug if you start from a slide before the one with the video and
then advancing to the slide that contains video.

So basically everything about it is different, except for one comment posted by
somebody else, buried further down in the comments.

The only commonality between these two bugs is they are both related to video
on a slide. They might be well be related in some way, but the steps to
reproduce are different, the architecture is completely different, and, more
importantly, what *doesn't* trigger the bug is different (and known).

Given you yourself just said you can't reproduce it on Linux, and 116643 is
specific to a regression on Linux in particular, I don't see how this is the
same bug.
