            Bug ID: 172099
Summary: pasting an html URL from clipboard deletes part of the
                    document.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I've been intensely using Libreoffice Writer for over 2 years, I always do the
same things. Never I had this problem until now.

This happened twice in 5 days both on ubuntu24 and Windows11

I'm working on a 460 pages text document (about 3,4Mb; 99% text, 8 small
images),

Pasting an Url inside the document destroys a part of the text following the
place in which paste is done.

Ctrl Z is no help. The disappeared text is gone forever.

The first time it happened under ubuntu24 : pasting destroyed about 20 lines of
the following text,
Second time it happened next day under Windows11.
1 line deleted.

Again , CtrlZ doesn't help.
