Bug ID: 172104
Summary: LO base crashes on Apple Silicon when selecting
"table" in "Type of List Contents" in the list box
control properties
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.3.2 release
Hardware: ARM
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In the base form I create a list box, go to properties and select "table" as
type of list contents. LO goes to endless loop / crashes.
In the base form I create a label and edit the text of the label. When I now
close the properties dialog everything works fine. If I now select ANY other
item of the properties dialog LO goes to "endless loop" / crashes.
Both crashes appear consistently with embedded and with remote databases.
Not crash on windows and linux.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use a form, Create a list box
2.open the control properties dialog
3.choose "Table" as type of list contents...
Actual Results:
LO goes into endless loop (no reaction) / crash. Needs to be killed and
restarted.
Expected Results:
LO should use the table entry as it does on linux and windows.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
This worked fine on apple silicon until autumn 2025. Until today I hoped a
newer version will work fine again, but now it is time to report the bug.
(I have a small linux machine also, I can do the edit there, the result works
fine afterwards, its only the configuration process that fails.
