In LibreOffice Writer:
1. Tools > Options
2. Flip between these 2 settings:
- LibreOffice Writer > Formatting Aids
- LibreOffice Writer/Web > Formatting Aids
and stare at the left-side "Display Formatting" column.

BUG: SEE attached GIF!
The items under "Display Formatting", even though they have almost the same
exact settings, draw the symbols in slightly different locations.
