            Bug ID: 172171
Summary: Ability to set a minimum font size within a Calc file
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
(I apologize if I am overlooking something)
Every time I think I finally understand font size / cell row height in Calc, I
am faced with another situation that proves this not true.

When a "cut" is performed on a cell, Calc is programmed to also "cut" any
formatting that was applied to that cell.
For most formatting this behavior is desired but can be an issue in certain
scenarios.

For example font size.
It is understandable that font size would be a part of the "cut" action,
however what if user wants to maintain a specific minimum font size within
their Calc file?

Steps to Reproduce:
STEPS TO PREPARE SHEET
(If there is a more efficient way to do this please let me know, in the future
the only thing I can think of is a macro)
1.) Open a new sheet
2.) Select the entire sheet (CTRL+A)
3.) Set font size to 12
4.) Right click on row number column to show its context menu
5.) Select `Optimal Height`
6.) Set `Optimal Height` to 0.00" and "Default Value" box checked "on"
So all of this prepares the entire sheet for this issue to be tested

STEPS TO REPRODUCE ISSUE
7.) In A5 type some text
8.) Select that A5 cell you just typed in and verify font size shows 12
9.) Now while that A5 cell is selected hit CTRL+X to "cut" that cell
10.) When doing this notice how the height of this row 5 now decreases
11.) ESCAPE out of this "cut" action/select
12.) Now click A5 cell again and notice that the font size now changes to 10

What if users wants to have a minimum font size of 12 used in current sheet?
Yet the minimum default is 10.

Actual Results:
Font size changes to 10 as the default

Expected Results:
To be able to set a custom minimum default font size used, so it "cut" actions
do not change the font size to an undesired font size and have to manually keep
increase cells font sizes / cell heights, which is very inconvenient to have to
keep an eye out for this behavior and manually fix each time.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I made this a feature request but if this is already possible, would anyone be
willing to explain how to fix this?
If so....
-Can this be set/saved per file?
-Can this be set in Calc itself and applied to all files?

Thank You
