            Bug ID: 172197
Summary: LibreOffice Draw UI: Grid points fade with increased
zoom and disappear at high zoom.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.6.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
UI: Up to 100% zoom grid points are highly visible. By 200% subdivision
points become hard to see on my 15" laptop screen. Between 450% and 800% they
can only be seen under perfect conditions, and they are essentially invisible
beyond that.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Adjust zoom and observe
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Grid points behave as described above

Expected Results:
Grid points should be equally visible at all levels of zoom.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Version: 25.8.6.2 (x86_64)
Build: b4b39682cd9868fa725bc664aff94278d315bd04
Environment: CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200)
User Interface: UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win en-CA (en_CA); UI: en-US
Misc: Calc: threaded

I am designing a house, so high zoom and accuracy are required to ensure
dimensions are correct. In my opinion, at least +/-2" accurately on a 1000
square foot floor plan drawn on tabloid paper should be possible.

I know this is not the intended application for this component, but I'm sure
there are other users who would need similar zoom utility, and the Draw
component has all the functionality I require for this project other than this
bug.
