            Bug ID: 172203
Summary: Italicized text at the end of a paragraph with
justified alignment oversets beyond the document body
                    and into the margin.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: ARM
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have a paragraph in LibreOffice Writer. The alignment is justified (flush
both left and right). The last word of the paragraph comes very close to the
right-hand edge of the document body. If I apply italics to the word and the
period after it, the word and period partially run off the document body and
continue into the into the margin. If I double-click to select the word, the
highlighting only extends to the edge of the body and does not extend to the
cover remainder of the word that is overset into the margin.

The same occurs if I delete the italicized period and leave the word (still in
italics).

However, if I (a) make the word and period roman (non-italics) or (b) keep the
word in italics but remove italics from the period, the word (and period) wraps
to the next line as expected.

Keywords: RTL, formatting

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write a line of text that barely fits on one line. Be sure to use justified
paragraph formatting.
2. Make the last word and any punctuation after it italic.

Actual Results:
Text spills into the margin.

Expected Results:
Text should wrap to the next line.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Text should wrap to the next line.
