--- Comment #3 from ady <[email protected]> --- (In reply to questions2000 from comment #2) "KISS" does not mean an insult to anyone. Is it possible that you misunderstand the meaning of the last "S"? It is aimed at being as intuitive and as simple to follow and as simple to execute as possible, by anyone. Every "little" tweak, adjustment, minor "advantage", has a "cost". I happen to disagree with some of the adjustments and additions in the several requests about "go to sheet" or related topics that you filed recently, almost in bulk. If there were unlimited resources, then maybe, perhaps, I would agree. That does not mean that you should not file the requests. Please allow me to express my opinion, based on my own user experience, and based on the huge amount of basic features that are still lacking in Calc. Additionally, sometimes users file requests because they like certain ways of doing things, while they are unaware of the existence of other methods of achieving the same effects. Since several alternative methods are already available for moving between worksheets, and the effort to achieve the change between worksheets is not such a heavy weight task, and the frequency of such task is not that high either (and if it is, then you can still re-order your worksheets so the effort is lower), I happen to think that having such an amount of requests, having developers dedicate time, having code complexity, is not a net positive balance when evaluated against the amount of other basic tasks and features that are awaiting (for years), that have no alternative at all. Please consider that when asking something just to avoid having to use one extra click once in awhile (i.e. not a task that you perform every couple of seconds), a lot of resources have to be invested, and then maintained. If I find my car with only 3 wheels, I would not be worried that much about the car air freshener at that very same moment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
