Bug ID: 172224
Summary: FORMATTING Calc Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.1.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]

Hello,
Note: I do not know if this is a program's bug or something else. So if I send
this to the wrong place, I appologize.
This is beyond my underatanding:
To follow-up my bank account,I open a new Calc spread sheet in
"LibreOffice".
First I select the whole spreadsheet, define the font type and size to use on
the page.
Define all entries align to the right.
The whole page is Right to Left.
Starting to define columns:
Column A Date
Column B Description (Simple text)
Column C Debit
Column D Credit
Column E Balance
Columns C, D and E defined as currency, local currency.
Column F for notes, if there are.
Name the spreadsheet and save it.
Now start to make entries.
To make some side calculations I use the system's built-in calculator.
The results on the calculator I select and copy it, and past it in one of the
currency columns.
Most of the time it works fine.
Then sometimes the pasted entry
'jumps' to the left in the box, and it is just as a simple number, not as
currency. Select the column and define it again as currency - nothing changes.
To correct it, I have to delete the entry, make a manual entry, then its OK.
It happens in any of the currency columns, not in the same allways.
Am I doing something wrong, or something in the program ?
Answers will be appreciated.
Thanks
Motim
Libreoffice version 26.2.1.2 (portable)
