V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #8 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- Hmmmm, as should be remembered, the MUFFIN Notebookbar has always been an assemblage of UNO controls--never native API. The Button close action (attachment 206175), the "hamburger" menu Close (attachment 206176), the File -> Close menu (attachment 206177) are all the same .uno:CloseDoc UNO. Users are already able to customize and remove two of the three. MenuFile-CloseDoc or File-CloseDoc, or both, can already be unchecked to not show in this MUFFIN UI. While the close on the hamburger is generic across the NB. We could disable one or both close buttons for the assemblage by default--but why? Just leave them as is and allow users to customize them away if they desire. The NB Tabbed UI is just one of many equal alternative NB UIs.
