Sample PPTx file which can be used to reproduce the issue
Issue Description:
When opening attached Sample_File.pptx file that contains a table, LibreOffice
Impress incorrectly renders the table column widths. Specifically, the first
(label) column is rendered significantly narrower than defined in the original
file, causing the cell text to overflow and extend beyond the table cell
boundary.
The same file renders correctly when opened in Microsoft PowerPoint — all
column widths and text placements are as expected. The rendering defect is
present in LibreOffice Impress 26.2.3.2.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LibreOffice Impress (version 26.2.3.2).
2.Open the attached Sample_File.pptx file which contains a table.
3.Observe the slide containing the table.
4.Compare the rendering of the label column (leftmost column, header:
"Tätigkeit") against the expected layout from Microsoft PowerPoint (reference
screenshots attached).
Actual Results:
•The leftmost column in the table is rendered with an incorrect (narrower)
width.
•The text within the label column cells overflows and extends beyond the table
cell boundary, appearing misaligned and overlapping with surrounding slide
content.
•The rendering is inconsistent with the original file as displayed in Microsoft
PowerPoint.
Expected Results:
•LibreOffice Impress should render all table column widths as defined in the
PPTX file.
•Text within each table cell should be fully contained within its respective
cell boundary, matching the layout as displayed in Microsoft PowerPoint.
•No text should overflow or appear misaligned relative to the table structure.
Reproducible : Always
