--- Comment #4 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to [email protected] from comment #0) > Name field: having "Bookmark 1" may be okay as a default, but would be > helpful if selected (highlighted) so that we can begin typing to replace > rather than having to remove it every time (I suspect many users might use > more descriptive names for their bookmarks) It is selected, for me. LO 26.8 nightly with GTK3. > Columns in general: should be able to set widths which then are kept > for at > least the session; as it is now, every time the dialogue is accessed, > everything reverts to the default other than the window size And the default - for me - does not match the window size. > Columns in general: as a default width, the "Hidden" column, given that > it > is a short Boolean field, should be provided minimum width so that defaults > for the other fields are wider; might help with the problem above And it could use a check instead Yes/No. Plus - you can't change the value! Not with a button, not by double-clicking the table cell. > Rename feature: when a "Name" is renamed, the record pointer immediately > goes back to the beginning of the list; this is not a problem when there are > only a few bookmarks, but becomes onerous when there are dozens and getting > back to the next one to edit requires considerable scrolling For me, the list selection is just cleared. I don't like lots of aspects of the Boomark dialog generally. I don't like that some columns cannot be set nor edited, that their meaning is unclear, that the dialog is impossible/very difficult to access unless you pretend to be inserting a new bookmark... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
