Bug ID: 172328
Summary: When the number format is "Standard", it cannot be
reset with the "x" button on the General tab of the
cell style
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.8.0.0 alpha0+ master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When the number format is "Standard", it cannot be reset with the "x" button on
the General tab of the cell style.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open new Calc.
2. Create a new cell style named "AAA" and set its number format to "0%".
3. Create a new cell style "BBB" with "AAA" as its parent, then change the
number format to "Standard".
4. Open the General tab.
Under the "Contains" field, you should see "0" displayed.
This means the number format has been set to "Standard" without inheriting
the parent "AAA" setting.
5. Press the "Edit" button.
Actual Results:
6. You will see the message "All properties are inherited from the parent
style." and be unable to revert to the parent settings.
Expected Results:
6. There should be an "x" button that allows you to restore the number format
to the parent setting.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
You can easily reset the formatting by pressing the "Standard" button on the
Numbers tab.
This results in numeric format being displayed as "0%".
Of course, the "Contains" field on the General tab will no longer display any
content.
