The Ctrl+Shift keyboard shortcut is one of the standard Windows keyboard
shortcuts for switching keyboard layouts. Can you at least enable an
alternative in the Writer settings—for example, to use Alt+Shift instead of
Ctrl+Shift?

This is very inconvenient! I switch keyboard layouts far more often than I need
(almost never) to change the text input direction.
