Bug ID: 172355
Summary: Connectors losing their position [ODT]
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Connectors in LibreOffice Writer seem to lose their position after closing the
document and re-opening. After reopening the lines are not connecting the
objects (text boxes).
After moving (left click dragging) the object sometimes the lines reconnect and
are drawn correctly.
Also: Adjusting the position of the 90 degree bend in the line doesn't appear
to save either.
Microsoft Word Behavior: MS Word also loads the document incorrectly. However,
after manually readjusting the lines and saving the document (in ODT format),
it is able to preserve the position when reopening.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new document in Writer
2. Draw two text boxes and use a line connector to connect them
3. Save the document and close it.
4. Re-open the document.
Actual Results:
Lines disconnected and appear in incorrect position.
Expected Results:
Lines in the same position as when saved.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
