            Bug ID: 172400
Summary: Calc Navigator’s data range button does not seem to
                    select a data range
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Calc has a Navigator sidebar which has a "data range" button. According to the
guide it "highlights the data range containing the cell in which the cursor
currently lies.". However, I created both a database range (Data/Define Range)
and a named range (Sheet/Named Ranges and Expressions) and when placing the
cursor in one of these and pressing the button, nothing happens, except that
the selection highlight (NOT the focus for typing!) moves to the start of the
line.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create named database range and a named range
2. Put the cursor in the ranges
3. Click "Data Range" button in navigator

Actual Results:
Highlight jumps to start of row.

Expected Results:
Current named range gets selected.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I would be curious about the usecase for the "Data Range" feature and other
features offered by the top form controls of the calc navigator.
