            Bug ID: 172415
Summary: Regression: Missing or broken sidebar "Cell
Appearance" preset sequence for applying mixed-width
                    internal/external borders
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
In 25.8 and previous versions of LibreOffice Calc users could quickly apply a
standard multi-width border layout (thin internal lines and a thick external
border) to a table using the Properties sidebar panel without manually drawing
individual lines in the preview box. A regression or UI behavioral change has
completely broken this specific, highly efficient preset workflow

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Highlight a grid of table cells.
2. Open the Styles & Properties sidebar panel (via F11 or the sidebar gear
icon) and locate Properties > Cell Appearance.
3. Under Presets, click the icon for Set Outer Border and All Inner Lines
(setting everything to the active thin line size).
4. Immediately after, click the Set Outer Border preset icon to apply a thicker
border width to the frame only.

Actual Results:
Either the workflow fails completely because the dynamic presets override/erase
the previously selected inner line configurations, or the preset buttons fail
to register the multi-thickness sequence correctly—leaving all lines uniformly
thick or uniform thin. The native ability to combine these two quick clicks for
a mixed-width border is completely missing/broken.

Expected Results:
The presets should interact non-destructively when sequential border properties
are applied. Clicking "Set Outer Border and All Inner Lines" followed by "Set
Outer Border" with a different line thickness should cleanly produce a table
with thin inner borders and a thick outer outline, exactly as it performed in
prior versions.

Reproducible: Always
