--- Comment #2 from Paul <[email protected]> --- Yes, that is what I do now, but it is very tedious. To reiterate, LibreOffice Writer and Calc use a fixed relative size (58%) for the built-in Subscript and Superscript toolbar buttons and keyboard commands. This value appears to be hard-coded and cannot be changed by the user. Users can manually set a different relative size via Format → Character → Position, but these settings are not used by the built-in subscript/superscript commands. As a result, users who frequently work with engineering, scientific, or mathematical notation must repeatedly open the Character dialog to adjust the size. Requested enhancement: Make the relative size and offset used by the built-in Subscript and Superscript commands user-configurable (for example, under Tools → Options), or have those commands use the last values specified in the Character → Position dialog. Use case: Engineering and scientific documents often require larger subscripts (e.g. 70–80%) for readability. The current fixed 58% size is unnecessarily small and slows document creation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
