            Bug ID: 172602
Summary: "Default" Template Styles are Inconsistent
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
The "Default" Template has an inconsistent mix of styles.

Some are serif, other are sans-serif.

It has an especially inconsistent mix of Heading styles.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open File > Templates > Manage Templates
2. Open the "Default" template. The name suggests a good adaptable all-purpose
template.

Actual Results:
3. Some styles are serif, others are sans-serif.
4. Heading 4 is noticeably larger than heading 3.
5. Heading is 14 pts, Heading 1 is 14 x 1.3 = 18.2 pt, Heading 2 is 14 x 1.15 =
16.1 pt, Heading 3 is 12 pt, Heading 4 is italic and 14 x 0.95 = 13.3 pt, etc.
Heading 4 is noticeably larger than Heading 3!
6. The mix of different fonts for different styles means that users who choose
their preferred fonts for "Default Paragraph Style" won't have the same font in
each style.
7. The mix of different base sizes for different styles means that users who
choose their preferred size for "Default Paragraph Style" won't have
proportional changes to each style.
8. The mix of 14 pt x multiplier and 12 pt for different Heading styles means
that users who choose their preferred heading size for "Heading" won't have
consistent changes among these headings styles.

Expected Results:
9. The "Default" template should probably be consistent out-of-the-box. Heading
3 might be x1.05 (or 14.7 pt) instead of 12 pt.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
10. A few "Simplicity" and "Readability" templates, with the same font
throughout, and with consistent sizes, might be useful, and easier to use.
There's a "Simple" template, but it's not much simpler than the "Default" one.

I tested in Safe Mode but haven't reset my user profile.
