No, exposing the "pin'd" status on the MRU (File -> Recents) is reasonable
enhancement to UI. Behavior on the SC of moving the thumbnail view into its
pin'd position is OK, though the actual icon motif should distinguish between
what has been pin'd when repositioned vs. icon for an un-pin'd thumbnail.

Same idea for items on the MRU list. We already have the 'Current module only'
toggle on the MRU, and the older 'Clear list' action. So the File -> Recents is
already not purely a list.

So, continue to believe that adding the "pin'd" / "favorite" status to the MRU
listing remains a reasonable enhancement. The UI could be similar to the
capture from Softmaker, but I'd prefer more distinction between a pin'd and an
un-pin'd state. While the diagonal "pin'd" icon on the SC could use more
attention--one to target, and one when applied and the thumbnail relocated on
the SC backing window.
