           Version: unspecified

                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium

Text Import Dialog used on MYOB's output report file created as Tab Limited
Text File fails to parse fields with currency symbols ($) into numbers despite
"Detect special numbers" and matching Locale being selected in this case as
English Australia. Cells get pasted as Text instead of numbers. Last used 1
year ago it used to work. The input file cells with a $ prefix were correctly
evaluated as numbers, and the resultant output file cells in LibreOffice Calc
were not only stripped of the $ symbols but the ISNUMBER test on them showed
TRUE. Now it shows FALSE.
