The dialog looks much different than it did when this bug report was created, but the replace field is annoyingly many tabstops away from the find field. Not so easy to fix. Currently the first tab takes you to the find drop-down (at least for Linux/GTK), then hte match-case checkbox, then the whole-word checkbox, then finally the replace field.
