            Bug ID: 172827
Summary: LibreOffice Calc: Dragging the fill handle in column A
scrolls the sheet to the top instead of performing
                    AutoFill
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
VERSION: LibreOffice 26.2.4.2 620(Build:2)

Dragging the fill handle causes the worksheet to scroll to the top while
extending a sequence, making AutoFill difficult because I have to fight the
scrolling by moving back down quickly enough.

When using the fill handle to extend a numeric sequence, dragging the fill
handle causes the worksheet to scroll to the top instead of continuing the
AutoFill operation. The issue only occurs when the worksheet is already
scrolled down. If the visible area is already at the top of the sheet, the
problem does not occur.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new Calc spreadsheet.
2. Enter enough data to require scrolling.
3. Scroll down so that the visible area is no longer at the top of the
worksheet.
4. Enter `1`, `2`, and `3` into consecutive cells in column A (for example,
`A100:A102`) and select them.
5. Drag the fill handle downward.

Actual Results:
As soon as the drag begins, the worksheet unexpectedly scrolls to the top (row
1), as if a "scroll to top" or Page Up action had been triggered. The AutoFill
operation can still be completed, but I have to continually fight the automatic
scrolling by moving back down fast enough while dragging.

Expected Results:
Dragging the fill handle should extend the sequence downward without changing
the current scroll position.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Version: 26.2.4.2 (X86_64)

* It only occurs if the worksheet is already scrolled down. If the view is
already at the top of the worksheet, the problem does not occur.
* The issue occurs with multiple pointing devices (external mouse, touchpad,
and ThinkPad TrackPoint), suggesting it is not specific to a particular input
device.
* This behavior is reproducible 100% of the time
