Hi,I'm sorry, I didn't see this at the time, and with AI help, managed to
recover my work.
Yes, LO 24.x worked fine on my Intel MacBook Pro, but kept crashing on my M3,
corrupting the files repeatedly. The corruptions meant I couldn't find the
files because the finder lost track of them. All the log notes and AI
discussion show what was apparently happening, and the conflict with the MacOS
on Apple silicon. I really don't know what any of it means, but I was able to
find the missing files with help from the AI.
I've since moved to 25.8 because some bugs were addressed. It still crashes,
but I've got it set to save to recovery every 2 minutes, so I haven't lost a
lot of work since, and I've had to find some files again with terminal
commands. It also crashes with .odt, but auto-recovery has saved me on that as
well.
