            Bug ID: 172929
Summary: Impossible double-sided printing on Canon TS5150 from
LibreOffice Writer with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.4.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, Canon TS5150 printer (automatically installed as Canon TS5100
Series), LibreOffice 26.2 Writer:
With the Canon printer set to double-side mode,
a simple 2-page .odt document fails to print double-sided and uses 2 sheets of
paper when printed from LibreOffice Writer via File > Print...
However, the same document, when exported to PDF and opened in Firefox, prints
correctly in double-side mode!
This clearly highlights a bug that needs fixing in LibreOffice 26.2 Writer!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have a PC running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS with LibreOffice installed and a Canon
TS5150 printer.
2.Create a simple 2-page .odt document in LibreOffice Writer.
3.With the Canon printer set to double-sided mode, select File > Print.

Actual Results:
Double-side printing is not working, and two sheets of paper are being used :-(

Expected Results:
Only one sheet used, with the front printed on one side and the back on the
other :-)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
On Windows 10, there are no issues with double-sided printing in LibreOffice!
