Considering that there is currently no full support for table styles, I think that the keyboard shortcut for inserting is not used very often. It seems that in real-world situations, it's quicker for users to copy a table with configured styles from the document body than to create a new one. This issue may affect users who are just beginning to migrate from Windows and MS Office to Linux and LibreOffice, choosing KDE because it looks similar to their familiar desktop environment. However, they have a negative experience when they follow the advice to press ctrl+f12 to insert a table, but instead all windows are minimized. We've currently redefined the problematic shortcut at the distro package level, but it would probably be more convenient to fix it at the LibreOffice level. KDE is often the starting point for those new to Linux and FOSS, and it would probably be better to assign a non-overlapping shortcut for inserting tables to avoid intimidating new users. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
