Sample docx file which can be used to reproduce the issue
Issue Description:
When a DOCX document created in Microsoft Word contains hyperlinks attached to
objects, shapes, or elements positioned over an image/chart, the hyperlinks are
available and functional in Microsoft Word.
However, after opening the same DOCX file in LibreOffice Writer, the visual
objects are displayed, but the associated hyperlinks are not available.
Hovering over the object does not display the hyperlink tooltip, and Ctrl+Click
does not activate any hyperlink.
This causes loss of hyperlink functionality and results in interoperability
issues between Microsoft Word and LibreOffice Writer.
The issue can be observed with the attached sample document and screenshots
comparing Microsoft Word and LibreOffice Writer behavior.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the attached DOCX document in Microsoft Word.
2.Navigate to the page containing the chart/image with hyperlink-enabled
objects.
3.Hover over the object positioned over the chart/image.
4.Observe that Microsoft Word displays the hyperlink target and allows
hyperlink navigation.
5.Close Microsoft Word.
6.Open the same DOCX document in LibreOffice Writer.
6.Navigate to the same location in the document.
7.Hover over the corresponding object.
8.Try Ctrl+Click or inspect the object for hyperlink properties.
Actual Results:
*Object/image/chart is displayed.
*Hyperlink is not available on the object.
*No hyperlink tooltip appears on mouse hover.
*Ctrl+Click does not activate any hyperlink.
*Hyperlink information appears to be lost during DOCX import.
Expected Results:
*LibreOffice Writer should import and preserve hyperlinks attached to
shapes, drawing objects, images, charts, or overlay objects from DOCX files.
*Hovering over the object should display the hyperlink target.
*Ctrl+Click should activate the hyperlink in the same way as Microsoft Word.
*No hyperlink information should be lost during DOCX import.
