Sample docx file which can be used to reproduce the issue
Issue Description:
When opening the attached DOCX document in Microsoft Word, the document is
rendered correctly across two pages.
However, when the same DOCX file is opened in LibreOffice Writer (Version
26.2.5.2 x64 on Windows 11), LibreOffice displays only one page. The second
page content is not rendered as a separate page as expected.
This creates a document layout inconsistency between Microsoft Word and
LibreOffice Writer.
A comparison screenshot is attached showing:
Microsoft Word displays Page 1 of 2 and Page 2 of 2.
LibreOffice Writer displays only Page 1 of 1.
The issue appears to be related to DOCX import/layout processing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start LibreOffice Writer.
2.Open the attached DOCX file (SampleFile.docx).
3.Observe the page count and document layout.
4.Open the same DOCX file using Microsoft Word.
5.Compare the rendered page count and layout.
Actual Results:
*LibreOffice Writer displays the document as 1 page only.
*Content that should continue on a second page is not rendered as a separate
page.
*Page count shown in LibreOffice is Page 1 of 1.
*Layout differs from Microsoft Word.
Expected Results:
*LibreOffice Writer should render the DOCX document identically or as
closely as possible to Microsoft Word.
*The document should display 2 pages.
*Page count should be Page 1 of 2.
*Table layout and content flow should be preserved
Reproducible: Always
