Since that change, from immediately crashing to a delayed crash, is relatively
recent, it might be worth finding out (e.g. by bisect) which commit / report
triggered that first step (improvement). Whoever investigated that initial
crash might be able to help in this one too, instead of letting this new crash
report linger.
