Bug ID: 173197
Summary: Libreoffice Using Auto Filter Speadsheet and adding
Aggregate Function
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Summing Filtered Rows has a bug in that it ignores filters when adding an
aggregate
Example:
Assume Speadsheet is as follows..
TEST VALUE
Group1 100
Group2 101
Group1 102
Group2 103
Group2 104
If I Filter (using Auto Filter) on a group and then select the column and add a
sum, I would expect the following
Group1, I would expect a Total of 202, But I get 303
Group2, I would expect a total of 308, But I get 304
So, Selecting the displayed Rows also includes the hidden rows, so the filter
is actually ignored in this instance
Steps to Reproduce:
Assume Speadsheet is as follows..
TEST VALUE
Group1 100
Group2 101
Group1 102
Group2 103
Group2 104
If I Filter (using Auto Filter) on a group and then select the column and add a
sum, I would expect the following
Group1, I would expect a Total of 202, But I get 303
Group2, I would expect a total of 308, But I get 304
So, Selecting the displayed Rows also includes the hidden rows, so the filter
is actually ignored in this instance
Actual Results:
See Steps to Reproduce
Expected Results:
See Steps to Reproduce
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Would expect the aggregates to only use the displayed rows
