            Bug ID: 173229
Summary: Memory leak when using shape with image background in
                    LibreOffice Writer
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Whenever I try to add an image background to a shape in LibreOffice Writer the
memory usage of Writer explodes until my PC freezes up and Writer becomes
non-responsive.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new, empty Writer document (.docx or .odt, doesn't matter)
2. Open Task Manager, watch memory usage of LibreOffice process
3. Insert shape
  - "Insert" -> "Shape" -> "Basic Shapes" -> "Rectangle, Rounded"
4. Edit background in shape properties
  - "Properties" -> "Area" -> "Fill: Bitmap"

Actual Results:
As soon as I select "Bitmap" in the "Fill" dropdown I can see that the memory
usage of LibreOffice explodes until it becomes non-responsive and 100% of my
PCs memory is used.

In my particular case this means that the LibreOffice Writer process jumps from
~300MB memory usage to ~10GB within ~20 seconds.

Expected Results:
Add image background to shape without Writer freezing or leaking excessive
amounts of memory.

Reproducible: Always
