I don't agree. If I choose 'Cancel', then it means the program can't quit yet,
because I have *neither* specified 'Don't Save' *nor* 'Save' for that first
specific document. I feel that in asking to 'Cancel', I have clearly told the
program that I don't want to quit. So it makes no sense to ask me the same
question again and again.

And I think that clearly, selecting 'Don't Save' is a response for one specific
file (the one focussed at the time the dialog is displayed). It is clearly, to
me, not asking about all of the documents at once.

Some other programs, like Gedit (in GNOME) if I remember correctly, ask a
single 'which ones do you want to save?' dialog. That works OK, but personally
I think it's better to show the user each document in turn.
