            Bug ID: 173320
Summary: Retain DATA sort options for repetitive sorting with
                    several criteria
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.3 all versions
          Hardware: Other
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I edit a long list of data every daY with currently over 1000 lines of data. I
sort it based on the same selection of columns and ascending or descending
order every time I change the data. Could a selection box be added to the
"Date" > "Sort" dialog that would allow a set of criteria to be saved for
future use? The Box could be a toggle to save it or not and if saved the set of
criteria might be given a short name or simply listed below the other boxes.
The listing might be to simply sumerize the sort criteria as follows: "sort,
Column A-Ascending, Column C-Descending, Column F-Ascending and Column
B-Ascending" Or abbreviations of those words. I don't think there would be a
need for any more than 3 to 5 sets and they could be deleted by some set of
keystrokes or a check box.
