Summary: ver 26.8.0.Calc - computer crash with Pivot Table
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.8.0.0 alpha0+ master
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]

Description:
2026 Aug 29 Sat
I have been using LibreOffice successfully for several years. I use Windows 11
on a personal computer.
Yesterday (2026.08.28 fri) I upgraded from version 26.2.5 to 26.8.0. With
26.8.0 the spreadsheet crashes when I attempt to make a Pivot Table. I
re-installed the program, but Pivot Table attempts continued to crash.
I uninstalled 26.8.0 and put 26.2.5 back on my computer. The older version is
working fine.
I do a lot of Pivot Table calculations (Cross-Tab percentage tables). I seek
your advice on how to proceed.
Barry A. Liebling
Actual Results:
Pivot Table works fine with version 26.2.5. Pivot Table attempt crashes with
version 26.8.0
Expected Results:
downgrade to older program fixed the problem. But I want newest version to
work.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I want the Calc functions to work properly in the newest version.
