This is genuinely the only thing that prevented me from using this program because I'm working on a personal sheet that makes use of a lot of styles and conditional formatting. Not being able to easily see a preview of the styles is very inconvenient. Also, the fact that this bug has been reported and open since 2022 does not give me much hope that this product is worth using at all.
