When opening a CSV file in Calc, I would like an option to automatically enable
AutoFilter for the imported table when the file contains a header row.
My main use case is maintaining software backlogs and similar structured data
directly in CSV. When I open such a file, one of the first things I do is
enable AutoFilter, for example to hide rows that have already been completed.
Since many CSV files represent tables with column headings, this would simplify
a common workflow.
Ideally, the CSV import dialog could include an option such as: Enable
AutoFilter
and remember the user's previous choice.
Automatically enabling AutoFilter whenever Calc confidently detects a header
row could also be an option, but a remembered import setting would avoid
changing the behavior for users whose CSV files are not structured tables.
