Description:
On high-resolution or large monitors, LibreOffice's interface text and icons
can appear very small, causing significant eye strain. Currently, the UI font
and icon sizes are strictly tied to the system-wide OS display scaling.
Users who want to keep their operating system display scale at 100% cannot
enlarge LibreOffice's interface text and icons without forcing system-wide
scaling changes in Windows.
Adding a dedicated UI scaling / font size option (e.g., under Tools -> Options
-> LibreOffice -> View) with preset percentages (e.g., 100%, 125%, 150%, 200%)
would allow users to customize the UI scale independently to improve
readability and accessibility.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice on a large or high-resolution display with Windows display
scaling set to 100%.
2. Go to Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> View or appearance.
3. Try to increase the UI font size or scale the application interface
independently of the OS settings.
Actual Results:
No option exists to adjust UI font size or scale the interface independently.
The user is forced to change the global OS scaling in Windows settings.
Expected Results:
A UI scaling setting is provided under Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> View
(e.g., UI Scaling: 100%, 125%, 150%, etc.) to resize interface fonts and icons
independently from the system DPI scale.
