I'd like to point out that text files are a native format for Claude, Chat GPT, and git, so working with those file types is very natural. Unlike Microsoft Office, LibreOffice reads and writes md files directly, and is a very natural viewer for them. I stumbled on this issue, because I went from a the backlog.csv to backlog-item.md. I wanted to go back to the backlog file (which I had closed in the meantime). I went to open recently closed, the csv file wasn't there. I turned on the option to show files from other modules. It was there, but when I selected it, it opened in the csv file in writer not calc :-( LibreOffice could be a fantastic companion to AI Based development. It renders md files attractively, and csv files are enough of spread sheet for backlogs and other lists that are managed by the AI. All it needs are few small modifications. This is one of them.
