Description:
When running LibreOffice via Flatpak on Linux, the default GTK3 VCL backend
causes status bar icons (such as zoom buttons) to become transparent or
invisible due to rendering/contrast issues, even though they remain functional
upon clicking. Attempting to switch the VCL backend to kf5 via flatpak override
fails because the official Flatpak package lacks the libvclplug_kf5lo.so plugin
entirely (shipping only gtk3 and gen), forcing an unintended fallback to GTK3.
Furthermore, the icon theme gets locked to Sifr when using the default GTK
environment.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install LibreOffice via Flatpak on Linux.
2.Open LibreOffice Writer and observe the status bar (zoom buttons and control
icons are invisible, though clickable).
3.Check available VCL plugins inside the Flatpak container (missing kf5
backend).
Actual Results:
Status bar icons are rendered invisible/transparent under the default GTK3
backend, and alternative modern VCL plugins like kf5 are absent from the
Flatpak build.
Expected Results:
Status bar icons should be clearly visible and properly rendered under modern
default VCL backends in Flatpak, or alternative backends should be fully
bundled.
