Is this fixed in the sense of “next release”?

I have just noticed this on 26.8.0.3.

I don’t use table styles at all as they’ve proved flaky in the past. This is a
simple manually styled table with no borders and some space below.

If I delete a row in the table, it reverts to full borders. This makes editing
tables tedious for simple formatting, but infuriating if you use complex
formatting.
