Ideally, the opened ODT document should be formatted like in the PDF "twocolumns (the document when saved).pdf" (all the text in the superior part of the page), but it is shown in the way presented in the PDF "twocolumns (the document when reopened).pdf" (most of the text is in the left column and the rest in the right column —like if the option "Evenly distribute contents to all columns" were unchecked— and the section left no space in the page, throwing the "newline" to the next page, making the document to have 2 pages instead of one. When I say "newline", I mean just a blank line, not a page break. Every file of any text editor/processor starts with a "newline" Unfortunately I have no more information to provide you guys. This is not a bug easy to reproduce (if it can even be reproduced at all), it just happens in a part of the document, all two-column sections work good, but one or two have this issue; that's why I had to use part of a project of mine instead of building a sample from zero.
